Bisi Kolawole is a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which has an office in Ekiti (PDP). He is a former member of the State House of Assembly, a commissioner, and a former party chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti state, which has led to widespread confidence in his ability to lead the party in the state.
He served as campaign manager for two strong candidates, Dayo Adeyeye and Olusola Eleka, both of whom were elected to the Senate.
Bisi Kolawole has achieved outstanding results in polls in which he has competed on behalf of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Don’t forget that I am familiar with governance, having been a member of the House of Assembly, and a commissioner in the state. All these are important. The people are not asking government to make them millionaires. They just want to be comfortable. Provide adequate social services to them. The totality of all I have said is one of the reasons that have prompted me to go all out for it, and by the grace of God, with experience and support of the people, the situation will improve.”
How Bisi Kolawole Becomes Ekiti PDP 2023 Candidate
During the primary election, Otunba Bisi Kolawole was victorious by an overwhelming margin, and this was his second consecutive outstanding performance in the election.
The election saw the participation of seventeen candidates, including Kolawole, Segun Oni, Senator Biodun Olujimi, Prof. Kolapo Olusola, Mrs. Olumide Olubunmi, Kayode Adaramodu, Adewale Aribisala, Yinka Akerele, Ogunsakin Ayodeji, Alhaji Lateef Ajijola, Mrs. Arogundade Olutoyin, Princess Adekem.
Kolawole received 671 votes, enough to secure the party’s governorship nomination. With 330 votes, Segun Oni was named the second runner-up in the competition. Kemi Adewunmi received one vote, Deji Ogunsakin received six votes, Kayode Adaramodu received ten votes, Kolapo Olusola Eleka received 93 votes, and Wale Aribisala received 56 votes.
“It is our anticipation that this Ekiti State primary election would be seamless by the time it is concluded,” said Udom Emmanuel, the head of the primary election committee and governor of Akwa State, in his remarks to start the election. In the meantime, we hope that the PDP chapter in Ekiti State elects a flagbearer who will be generally accepted.
He predicts that his opponent will successfully strengthen the ‘umbrella’ and win the upcoming governorship race in June.
